My name is Alkea Sallo. I’m 17 years old and live in Kucove. I had the opportunity to participate in “VET TOURISM HOSPITALITY” Project , focused specifically in the reception trainings organised by RDA Berat and GIZ .
My days start by going to school and after it beside some rare times where I go to activities organized by the youth center , my afternoons are empty with so many free time. That’s why , when I saw the advertisement by th e youth center of the city I though that the training would be a great opportunity to learn usefull skills so perhaps I could work at summer or part time during school.
During the trainings I learned how important is to be polite to the costumer, how we must be prepare and responsible for the situations we might face , and how important is to use smart tactics in order to sell and to leave a good impression to the costumer. And if we fulfil all of those properly we will help on the business improvement. And by the practise at some of local business as “Hani i Qerosit” or “Onufri Hotel”, I learn how to use those ideas not just like theory but in real life. I believe it was a great experience that will have a great impact on my life in the future .
