My name is Dion Vokopola, and I’m proudly from Berat, Albania, where I was also born and raised. I am a younger passionate about expanding my knowledge and exploring new opportunities for growth. My parents spent many years living in Italy, but eventually returned to our beautiful home town of Berat, which has always felt like the perfect place to grow and create.As a young I am fond of AI, technology and business sector, as well. I am looking all the time to find new opportunities to improve my professional and personal skills, which helps me to update with the business market.
Situation Before The Training
Before joining this training, I was a student who also worked during the summer season as a waiter — both in a hotel and a restaurant. Those experiences helped me become more social, improve my communication, and truly understand customer service. I decided to take part in this training because I wanted to upgrade my professional skills, gain deeper knowledge, and grow my abilities in business management — with the dream of one day managing my own business .
Training Experience
The training focused on developing practical and professional skills in VET Tourism & Hospitality, combining green and digital competences with business management and digital communication. The most valuable part of the experience for me was gaining hands-on knowledge and becoming more confident — not only as a waiter but as someone ready to take on the challenges of the professional world. It gave me the tools to apply what I’ve learned in real business situations while keeping a positive attitude and open mindset.
Outlook and Impact
This training has had a big impact on both my personal and professional growth. It has improved my skills in business management, improved my communication, and inspired me to take more initiative and responsibility at a young age. Looking ahead, I hope this summer brings new opportunities for me to grow even further in customer service — whether as a better waiter, a sharper communicator, or a more confident entrepreneur in the making.
