1. Introducing the Person

I am Paola, born in Berat, Albania, where I have grown up in a family that is actively involved in business. My parents are owner of “Bar-Resorant-Hotel NOVA” knows RDAB very early, since its creation on 2000,which has supported their business sometimes in different kind of services as preparing business plan, promoting the business in social media, supporting them in participating in different fairs etc. So my parents encouraged me to apply for training in “Welcome Waiters”, organized by RDAB.

 

2. Situation Before Taking Part in the Training

Before taking part in the training, my primary role was that of a student, while also gradually becoming more involved in my family’s business. Socially, I was in a supportive environment, surrounded by my family and peers. However, I felt the need to expand my knowledge and gain more professional skills. I decided to participate in the training because I wanted to better prepare myself to work in my own business as a trained and capable individual. I hope one day to be the CEO of my parent’s businesses.

3. Training/Measure Experience

The training was focused on developing essential personal and professional skills, particularly in the field of hospitality and communication. During the experience, I gained valuable knowledge and practical skills, including teamwork, effective communication, and customer service skills. One of the most important things I developed was becoming more understanding and empathetic towards others. This aspect was especially useful to me, as it is crucial in both business and everyday interactions. The practical nature of the activities made the training engaging and highly beneficial.

4. Outlook

This training has had a positive impact on my personal and professional development, helping me feel more confident and prepared for future opportunities. Although Iam still at the beginning of my journey,I can clearly see an improvement in my skills and mindset. I have grown up surrounded by my family’s business, and I am determined to build my future within it. I am willing to work hard to achieve this goal, and training like this brings me closer to making my dream a reality. They provide me with the necessary knowledge, skills, and motivation to succeed.
